All graduating Liberal Studies students are encouraged to attend the University Commencement Ceremony in May. The May ceremony is the only ceremony held during the year. Students participating in the ceremony will include students who graduated the previous December (fall semester), those graduating in May (spring semester), and those who anticipate graduating the following August (summer term). For example, the May 2016 ceremony will be for students who apply to graduate in December 2015, May 2016 and August 2016.

Graduating Liberal Studies students participate in the same commencement ceremony with students in the College of Education and the Division of Undergraduate Studies. The May 2016 ceremony will be held in Viejas Arena on Sunday, May 15th at 2:00pm and will last aproximately 2.5 hours. Details regarding commencement can be found on the commencement website. Below is additional commencement information:

March 22nd, 23rd, and 24th from 9:30am-7:00pm in Montezuma Hall
